New Beginnings

Welcome to The Rainbow Couch!

Hi everyone! This is my first blog post at the opening of my new private practice, The Rainbow Couch. I have had a part-time practice for a long time for college students and recent graduates, while also working in a college counseling center. But the time was right for a full-time practice. It seems appropriate that the rainbow is used as a symbol of rebirth and hope of a new beginning while also being used as a symbol of the LGBTQ community. It has always struck me as appropriate that the rainbow is used for both of these things. My practice welcomes everyone, while also being an affirming place for the LGBTQ community.

The Rainbow Couch represents both the rainbow and the couch that symbolizes counseling and psychotherapy. Through this fusion, it is my greatest hope that The Rainbow Couch will be a healing place for you to share your deepest truths, work through both light and darkness, and find the rainbow on the other side.
